Their warmth, professionalism, and eye for detail were evident from the start — and they only continued to exceed our expectations every step of the way. On September 20, 2025, we celebrated the wedding reception of our daughter, Janay Edgar, and son-in-law, Van Tate, Jr., at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, GA, with 300 guests — and thanks to Robin and Alfree, it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. They helped us plan every detail from start to finish, creating a sophisticated, upscale event that was both seamless and full of heart. The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned, and their bar and cocktail services kept the celebration flowing smoothly. Their team also provided butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, adding an elegant touch that wowed our guests. The staff was outstanding — professional, friendly, and always a step ahead. In an incredibly thoughtful gesture, they even wore purple bowties to match our wedding colors, a small detail that made a big impression. Robin and Alfree took care of everything, including reserving a block of rooms for our guests and making sure all our needs were met — often before we even thought to ask. And in a touching moment none of us will forget, they surprised the newlyweds and both sets of parents with beautifully curated gifts, showing just how much, they care about the families they serve. Their attention to detail, exceptional service, and genuine passion made this event truly magical. I haven’t stayed in Albany for so long. I had forgotten just how nice people are here. Tony the breakfast supervisor was AMAZING. Every person at that front desk holding it down, dealing with Karens, kicking out the weed smokers, figuring out financial and computer stuff that makes NO SENSE (I used to be a front desk agent)—Ebony, Frank, and the night auditor with the Caribbean accent—was friendly and inspirational. I was pleasantly surprised how good this hotel and this team represent the good side of Albany!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Albany the Receptionist Kawajalein was absolutely the Best could not have asked for better front desk service she is very knowledgeable, kind, and was very attentive to meet our needs. She went above and beyond for us we will be back.

My Experience with the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, GA was a great experience. I felt like I was at Home away from home. The Front Desk Staff was so warm and opening when I entered the hotel. The upgraded rooms were very cozy. I will definitely be visiting again very soon.

The room was very clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable. I wish you’re told beforehand about the extra parking charge at booking instead of a note under the door. We liked the location and the staff we all very friendly and smiling.

Came here with my friend. Clean room and bathroom. My shower drain wouldn't stay up so the water wouldn't drain during my shower. Didn't feel like changing rooms or calling maintenance since I only stayed one night, so I just dealt with it. I'd probably stay here again.

Great place to stay when visiting historic downtown Albany, Georgia, which played an important role in the Civil Rights Movement during the turbulent 1960s. The Ray Charles Plaza is located right across the street, showcasing the city’s pride in its legendary native son, Ray Charles, who spent part of his childhood here. The rooms are nice and well kept, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is excellent.

The whole place is clean and friendly. Larona is the absolute best. I was just making a cup of coffee, she came right up to me spoke with me like we were long lost friends! I loved that! She has a kind soul. I will be back. Sure hope Larona is still here when I do. Also it was just me she talked to like that, it was every single customer that she passed.
